School districts are starting to get back on track after 18 months sitting still, but the nationwide driver shortage across industries is proving particularly perilous for student transportation. And while school bus fleet managers are always trying to find inventive ways to increase safety and reduce risks for their student riders, the current and evolving driver retention crisis means many are looking for ways to make the best with what they have.
